 My name is Mikaela Curry. I am a recent graduate of Central State University majoring in Journalism and Digital Media.

 

Being that I was born in Detroit Michigan, and raised in the suburbs, it has given me a very unique perspective. Now that I am almost done with undergrad, I realize how important and valuable our voices and stories can be. 

 

I believe that my purpose is to shine light on stories that are often times unheard and ignored. Through my dedication and hard work, I would like to create a platform and opportunities that amplifies the sometimes voices-less.
